Caleb Downs Signs Rookie Contract

On May 1, 2026, the Dallas Cowboys secured their defensive future by signing 11th overall pick Caleb Downs to a four-year, $28.95 million fully guaranteed contract.

The deal, which includes a $17.5 million signing bonus and a fifth-year team option for 2030, ensures the generational safety is on the field for rookie minicamp. For dynasty managers, this is the ultimate green light. Downs is expected to be an immediate starter and the tactical heart of the Dallas secondary from Day 1. Stop scouting and start acquiring; the genius is officially on the clock.
